Nekoryu are a metaphysical sub-species of Tulpa, typically depicted with reptilian/serpentine and feline traits. They can only be observed by their own kind, their creator and beings that know about and believe in them. This makes them an extremely elusive and near-mythical species.
They are born and live in a plane of conscious reality; they only live while someone knows of them and their existence. Once their creator dies or people forget about or stop believing in them, their link to the conscious realm in which they reside is severed, and they cease to be.
